Newtown Festival Sydney 2013

It’s that time of the year again..for…the Newtown Festival.

The Newtown Festival has been running since 1978, in it’s 35th year, this year the festival is set to be the biggest yet. Held at Camperdown Memorial Park, this large space get’s jam packed with people, stalls, stages & food. It’s a great day out for couples & families. Simply bring a blanket, rug, snacks & friends to lay out and bask in the sun with some good tunes for the day.

There is no cost for entry, simply a gold coin donation. My recommendation is to try some of the food on offer there, as they serve the typical ‘fair or fete’ type food stalls, but bring some food also as it can get quite expensive if you are eating out all day & the food queues get quite long at lunch time.

Some of the activities set include: Writers Tent, Main stage – Federation stage, Kids Zone & Dog zone.

Get your Newtown vibe on & see you there.
